I have been on the hunt for comfortable shoes with a classic style that I can dress up or down and walk miles in. These Vivaia points fit the bill! I also purchased a pair of Rothy points, and offer my thought on both below.Price- unless you qualify for a special discount, the Vivaia’s win over the Rothy’s.You can purchase through Vivaia on Amazon, which is also nice.Size- I made sure to review the size charts and measured as instructed by each company. I have narrow tiny feet and found that while I wear a 5.5 or 6 in other brands, a size 5 is appropriate in both of these brands (though, I probably could size up to 5.5 in Rothy’s and still be comfortable). They each provide a bit of stretch, so there is some ‘wiggle room’.Style- the Rothy’s show ‘toe cleavage’ whereas the cut in the Vivaia’s does not (on me). This doesn’t bother me but may others. Some reviews note that the point makes the foot ‘look’ larger—-I do not share that sentiment (again, small feet).I have worn with suits, dresses, and jeans and they have been perfect!Material- same concept, though I want to note that I noticed my toes moving around in the Rothy’s but not in the Vivaia’s which suggests to me that the material may be a bit thicker in the Vivaia’s. Not a deal breaker for either company, just an observation.Cleaning- have not tried to wash yet, because I haven’t needed to! I ordered dark colors in both brands which may be why.Comfort- I have walked miles-no exaggeration-in both pairs and can honestly say they are awesome! No blisters! Good support, too. Breathable, so as not to get all hot and sweaty. Walked through the rain and found them to hold well and dry quickly, after.Conclusion-Both brands are GREAT!I purchased the Rothy’s because Vivaia didn’t have a true navy color option, and I purchased the Vivaia’s to compare comfort, since both brands offered black.I LOVE both! The price and look of the Vaviai’s, along with the ease of ordering through Amazon has me looking into purchasing more colors.
