I ordered the Ataiwee knitted ballet flats in black, size 9, regular width. (Amazon product ID: B09Q826S2R) I'm including the ID because this brand doesn't name its shoes and the descriptions can be quite similar.I really hate my toes being smashed into a pair of shoes. I often have to order wide shoes to get enough toe space. When I do order wide widths, I know to go down a size so that they won't be too loose. With these shoes, I ordered regular width and was happy to find they offered a comfortable toe box. I often have to stretch size 9 regular to get enough toe space, but not on these. So, that creates another problem: they are more like a 9 wide. I'm having to put tissue paper into the toes and a spacer on the inside of the heels. I've even checked the size mark on the soles to be sure I got a 9 regular.I'm not returning these, however, because they are great looking, affordable shoes. This pair has a nice white stripe on the backs, which is really stylish. In all, I really recommend these shoes and will buy more from the Ataiwee brand... but I'll be trying a smaller size.Finally... why is it so hard for shoe companies to make standard size women's shoes?
