I've had pretty bad plantar fasciitis for the last 6 months. I put these shoes...and for the first time in a long time I almost didn't hurt when I walked! They fit like a glove. I needed no break-in period, and I have pretty wide feet/size 9. Can't wait to get another pair.I was hesitant to pay such a high price for ballet shoes, but I’m glad I did. They are very lightweight and you can hardly feel them on your feet. It took awhile for my heels to break them in, but that was explained in the literature I received with the shoes. They had to adjust to my feet and they did loosen up without being to big. I ordered 9.5 and that is a size up from the 9 I usually wear, they fit perfectly. They recommend you size up if your usual size is too snug. Overall I am very happy with them and they are super cute on!Inspired to purchase these by an influencer I follow online. I cannot believe how light these are! I've been following the directions to wear them just a couple of hours at a time so they form to my feet, and it's been working. The only reason I didn't give these five stars is that sometimes it feels too tall for my heel - not the height of the shoe, but the height of the heel wall. I love that they are machine washable too! This is my third pair of Lissom Flytes and they don’t disappoint. I wear my Flytes while running errands, and when I visit Orlando-area theme parks. They are lightweight yet supportive for my over-pronating arches. The material is comfortable and doesn’t cause irritation to my bunions or heels, and they “break-in” very easily and quickly. I go between a 9.5 and a 10, depending on width of a shoe, and I’ve had success with 9.5 in these. I am a huge fan of ballet flats as my work campus requires generous walking between meetings sometimes and I have wider feet. Of my Tieks, Rothy’s and others, these are my most comfortable and I can wear them in my business casual environment. I’m at a point where I’m going to test putting my mint and grey/coral Flytes in the washer, I love that I have that option! I have had a pair gifted to me, but spent my own money on these shoes and my next pair to purchase? The neutral snake pair - I can’t wait to snag them when they’re in stock!I purchased these from the UK when they first launched and it took a long time to get product - but once they came they were amazing. I was in process of waiting for my 2nd pair to come when they all of a sudden closed up and my purchase never came through. Then a few months ago I there they were again on facebook and I was amazed that they were back up and running and this time with a US based warehouse as well. I came over to Amazon and they had them under Prime and bought my original 2nd pair (all black flytes) again. they came quick and felt great - the only thing I wish i would have done is size up a half size. Im normally a 9, but my toe big toe is right at the top on the one shoe. But I love these and will order more - totally worth the price and LOVE that they have the US warehouse and shipping so fast. I can wear these all day without the pain! glad to see they are back up and running!I am getting used to these shoes now, but at first I hated them. The cool box & the neat little bag each was inside held such promise, plus the cost made me expect something better. I would have sent them back even before I tried them on, but the cost was daunting, making me believe these LISSOMS deserved the benefit of the doubt. I decided to wear them to an appointment with a funky summer-like outfit.I hated them. They embarrassed me. The way the throat is cut at a slant looks awful, makes the medial side look as though I have bunions on my great toes. And the heel! The sole sticks out so far in back it lengthens the whole shoe & therefore the whole foot. Looks like you're wearing size 11 footwear when you have on a size 8.I am disappointed. I think I'll just wear these shoes on my walks only. I like the slip-on design, no lace-up to mess with, and they're at least comfortable. They won't slip on wet surfaces, and they fit pretty well. But the insoles slip forward and wrinkle up.If you are looking for the perfect flat, one that is beautiful & just right for just about any informal event or leisure activity and makes your foot look shapely and all plus having all the other features of a $100 shoe, this isn't it. I shall relegate my LISSOMS to my morning walks & keep searching.A little tight in the toe boxI bought the black flytes for teaching and a summer trip to London. They’re great for school, we will see how the trip goes. Based on other reviews, I went up a half size so I could use an insole to put another layer between my feet and the cobblestone.Update: spent at least 6 of my 10 days in London and Paris in my Flytes and they were wonderful, possibly more comfortable than my Dr Scholl’s sneakers. I didn’t even bother with no show socks and never got a blister.
