I ordered a pair of the black canvas but what arrived were two right foot shoes - one in the black canvas and one in the black velvet. *Sad trombone*. Obviously, have to send back but I kind of prefer the velvet ones. Also, figuring out how the strap works is enough to drive a person insane but I finally did: Adjust the "buckle" to where you want it to lay over your foot. Then, take that other metal thing and clasp it right above the buckle (end that's closest to top of your foot). It'll take a few tries to get it but, once you do, the shoe fits well.So I ordered these for my Tai Chi class. My instructor requested we wear footwear with as little cushion as possible and as thin as possible to feel the floor. These definitely fit that criteria. There is zero support and they are very thin in sole and material making them lightweight and almost as though you are barefoot.I was disappointed when I saw the design I ordered looked nothing like the picture. As you can see from the pic comparison. I paid more for that design as I thought it was pretty but only to get a cheap version of what was pictured.I noticed from the reviews people received different type of clasps. I received the "S" clasp. I had never had a shoe with this type of clasp so I had to look up old reviews and questions to figure out how to properly hook it. As you can see from the pictures, it just simply hooks behind the Buckle.I wore them out for the first time for several hours, not only to my Tai Chi class but to do some shopping as well. They were surprisingly comfortable despite having minimal soles or support. The Buckle stayed in place and I had no issues there.I'm a 9 1/2 but typically shoes and clothing from China run small so I ordered a 10. They fit perfectly. So I would suggest possibly ordering a half size up.Despite the disappointing design, the shoes still fit my purpose and I decided to keep them for my class. If I received the design I ordered I probably would have given these 5 stars.These shoes are cheap- that's both a positive and a negative for me. The insoles were poorly glued in and are not at all secure, but that's the only major flaw I've noticed so far. These fit me perfectly and the straps and buckles are pretty high quality. If you're looking for a lifetime of reliable wear from these shoes, look elsewhere. But if you just want some cheap and cute Mary-Janes, these fit the bill.For starters, the buckle in the side does not adjust with a whole to put the stem in. So as you walk the strap becomes loose and the shoe is floppy. The shoes ran a little big in size. If the buckle was different, I'd buy again. I love these casual shoesThey sent me the wrong ones first, but they were too big. I sent them back and reordered them a size smaller and they sent me the correct ones that fit perfectly with my daughters 50s themed costume:)I would have given these shoes 5 stars especially for the price but my shoes came with a missing buckle... But, over the shoe is great and I'll most likely buy another pair. Hopefully they don't have a missing buckle.Bought these shoes to complete my Halloween costume, they're nice shoes for the price, but they do run a bit on the small side so I would recommend to go one or two sizes bigger. I usually wear a 7.5 I bought an 8.5 & my toes are at the very tip.I've been buying these shoes for years now. I love them. I wear them until there are holes in the sides and then I order more. They are soft, super comfortable, great quality. The sole is rubber. The inside is a soft, cotton, cloth baby diaper material, and the sides - not sure of the material, but I think they were cotton - are breathable. My feet were never sweaty in these. The shoes never smelled bad. BUT... there's been a change. The last pair I received was made of inferior materials that make my feet sweat like crazy. It's been just over a week and the shoes already smell bad. And the interior sole isn't cotton and it isn't glued down and it pops out all the time. I feel gross putting them on. They're pretty disgusting.These shoes look cute but are very poorly made. The stitching is off & loose in some parts. Also inside it feels lumpy & not smooth against your feet. Almost feels like some object was sewn inside. The sizing is also off as my usual size is 8.5 so ordered 9 but still feels pretty tight. Not very comfortable so I plan to just use these as indoor shoes/slippers because I definitely will not be comfortable wearing for any extended period of time outside. Very cheaply constructed, wouldn’t recommend buying. Definitely not worth the money unless you plan to wear indoors. Disappointed. The only positive was they arrived very quickly, I was surprised as expected them to arrive late.I was looking forward in getting these shoes as I have been looking for them for a long time. The one in the picture showed rubber sole light brown , the ones I received had a slippery plastic sole. The fabric used for the top was not the original Mary jane shoes like I had many years ago. Really dissapointed that I had to send them back. The ones I received were too small according to the size available.I absolutely love...LOVE these shoes! You know how most new shoes take breaking in? Some blister your feet....some hurt a bit....some just take a while to get used to.....these shoes IMMEDIATELY feel like that one pair of shoes you never want to part with.. The ones you'll wear til the soles are worn because they're just so comfy! I am truly truly truly happy with these shoes. Obviously, I recommend them highly! Thanks again Amazon!!??Sizing runs a little bit large. I'd ordered size 11 but they were too big (to fit my men's size 9.5 feet). The size 10s fit well with everything from pantyhose to big socks thanks to the adjustable straps. I chose black micro-suede -- a velvety finish with a bit of gloss -- very cute, but I'll probably order an old-style canvas pair too -- exactly like the Chinese flats I wore as a teenager. My new flats are light-weight and comfy -- perfect for when I'm relaxing at home in tights and slouchy leg warmers. They're also fun to wear with jeans because, like ballet flats, the open top of the shoe can give people a nice glimpse of your pretty socks -- or your flirty fishnet tights!El producto se ve bien y es cómodo.
