Y’all I have been thirsting after these shoes for a year. The price dropped and I was finally like sure I can probably (not really) justify this purchase. So know going into this that I’m hella biased and have absolutely no experience with nice shoes—most of my shoes are like $25-30.They arrived beautifully. Came in a pretty uninteresting shoe box (because Class I guess), but each shoe came in its own little bag (now THAT is Class). I gave them a pretty thorough inspection—I just spent over $100 after all. There were a couple super minor marks on the heel, but they came off with a little scrub of the thumb, so that was good. The soles are insane—is this what leather soles are like? Holy cow. Almost didn’t want to walk in them they were so pristine (and then I absolutely walked in them).Trying them on—I’m usually somewhere between an 8.5 and 9, so I was pretty hesitant for a while, but boi if they weren’t spot on. So if you tend to buy a majority of your shoes in one size, it’s probably a safe bet. I’m like a 38.5, or 8.5 US, so it can be a gamble. They fit like a glove.A really miserably stiff glove. With that said, I’ll probably need to update this in a few months when I’m released from my quarantine prison and actually get to walk around at length. For now, they’re glorified house shoes. I’ll probably work in these on good weather days—I work in a library and do a lot of shelving, lifting, and other manual labor so we’ll see how they hold up.So yeah, stay tuned in a few months and hopefully I’ll remember to update this and gauge how they’re going. Otherwise, I’m insanely happy with this purchase. It was well worth the wait. Perhaps I’ll add some photos when I’m feeling spicy.UPDATE 3/2023Looking for a funny review I left and found this, so I'll finally update it!These broke in pretty swiftly. They've held up amazingly and I still wear them! The insole on the right foot got a little weird, but it's negligible for me. I have since upped my shoe-game, so unfortunately (or fortunately) these don't enter the rotation as often as they used to, but now that I'm familiar with overpriced leather shoes that I no longer buy new at full price, I can safely say these were a great purchase and I adore them still. Hope this helps anyone still thinking about them!
